The infamous Tower of London. If you’re really into the history of London it’s definitely a must see museum. I’d highly suggest getting the audio guide you can rent for 4 pounds, which you can find after you walk through the first gate. There also the Yeoman guides you can follow. You should probably do this first. Without this manned guide you cannot enter the churches unless you’re going to the churches to attend service.
I made a short day trip to Cambridge while in London. It takes about an hour to get there by train. I honestly had no idea what I was going to do there while I was there. Before going I was told that I should go punting. Being the Canadian I had no idea what that meant. I had to look it up and found out it meant boating. It’s very specific to a type of boat used in Cambridge, that’s very similar to gondolas used in Venetian lagoons, but slightly wider.
This is Street Feast London. It’s an awesome food fest that happens in the Summer. It’s on going from May until June every Friday & Saturday. Every week there are new vendors that show up so it’s worth going to it more than once.
This is Covent Garden. The central meeting ground for anyone in London and probably one of the most entertaining places in London. The area is relatively easy to get to. There are a ton of tube stations and several bus routes that go through the area.

Located close to Notting Hill Gate Station. It’s a short walk North of the exit. Here you will find tons of antique shops that open on the street daily. Although, some of them don’t open until the weekend, like the Portobello Green Market which opens up at the end of the street. There are also a few food vendors who don’t open until the weekend as well. You should definitely aim for getting there on a Friday if you can, Saturday and Sunday get quite packed.
